Caramelized sugar and cocoa in both flavor and aroma. The body is heavy and creamy with contrasting mellow acidity. Bittersweet oak and caramel in the finish.
Origin of Bean
Three volcanoes surround Lake Atitlán which contribute to rich soil that can hold moisture for the coffee plants to flourish. The lake also contributes to the process, as most of the producers in this region use the water from the lake to wash their coffees. This coffee comes from small producers on the western side of the lake.
