Burundi has long been overlooked in comparison to its neighboring East African specialty coffee-producing powerhouses. These East African coffees showcase aromatic florals, soft citrus and sweet, fruity combinations.
ORIGIN OF BEAN
This wonderful coffee comes from the Gisha Washing Station in the Ngozi region
of Burundi. The entire region is at 1650 masl or higher and experiences temperature averages of 70°F the entire year. Local coffee producers typically only grow a couple of hundred coffee trees on less than a hectare of land.
This microlot is currently only being offered as whole bean.
