Ethiopia, Arsosala - Light Roast
FLAVOR DESCRIPTION
We sourced this superb coffee from a newer development in Ethiopia. Local heirloom varieties showcase fruity and floral tastes and aromas. Expect vibrant notes of red grape, vanilla, port, hibiscus, pomegranate, dark honey, milk chocolate and cherries. Its moderate acidity blends well with its moderate-clean body. Enjoy this great coffee while you can!
ORIGIN OF BEAN
Since its founding in 2015, the washing station known as Arsosala is making a name for itself! In the Urga woreda of Guji, up to 1200 local smallholder producers sell their coffees at Arsosala. The coffees are usually picked ripe and depulped the same day. For washed coffees, the coffee is fermented 24-36 hours (depending on the weather) before being washed clean and dried on raised beds. This unique terroir has gained a reputation and allowed the station to gain its own identity in Sidama.
This microlot is currently only being offered as whole bean.
